All About Matt

My Prior Experience to ScholarBuys:
I have worked for multiple entrepreneurs and business startups throughout my career. I helped put myself through College by working for a small family owned pizzeria. Upon graduating I was a key sales executive in a business with a similar model to ScholarBuys. That company was acquired by a fortune 100 business. From there I moved on to another tech focused business and was key in the development of their volume software licensing division. I have seen companies built for success and those built for failure and applied that knowledge to help build ScholarBuys into a successful business.

My proudest accomplishment at ScholarBuys:
ScholarBuys started in my basement in 2008. I am extremely proud of the strong relationships we have built with our customers, coworkers and partners. Having an idea for a business and seeing it come to fruition has been a rewarding experience.

My Role at ScholarBuys:
I develop and oversee operational procedures, marketing, branding and our overall corporate culture.

 
What I do in my free time:
I have three little boys who keep me busy with their various sport leagues and activities. I coach my oldest son’s NFL Flag Football team and that is a ton of fun! I also enjoy running, in 2015 I ran the Chicago Marathon.
