Classroom Management

In the education market you will find a large variety of solutions to manage devices in the classroom. The biggest question we hear from schools is,  “How do I pick the best one?”. The answer isn’t always straight forward, but our vast knowledge of the leading providers helps us guide schools to a product that will best fit their needs.

With Chromebooks taking over the K12 space, there has been a growing need to manage this influx of devices by the schools’ IT department. Some of the top classroom management providers that we work with include: GoGuardian, Hapara and LanSchool.  All of these products offer similar functionality, but do have some unique features that make them stand out. For example, GoGuardian allows you to set policies while the devices are on the school network, as well as when the students go home. This prevents them from accessing content that they shouldn’t be viewing when outside the network.
There are schools that prefer Windows devices for their students and we work with companies that can provide them with management tools for their units. Lightspeed Systems & Absolute MTM both give schools the tools to oversee their devices and monitor their activity to prevent them from going places that they shouldn’t be. Absolute has a tool that can help when a device goes missing or is stolen. They are able to track the device and provide court-ready investigative reports if they are needed.  It is important that the schools are able to protect their financial investments and keep their students safe.

The reason ScholarBuys is able to help so many schools with this growing problem is that we have close relationships with each company and we are able to use their resources to better support schools. For example, we can provide datasheets, videos and live demos that give a firsthand look at the product in action. We also leverage other ScholarBuys employees knowledge base and learn from their past experiences. This gives us more insight to the pain points that the schools are experiencing to help us better understand their needs.
