On February 24th-26th ScholarBuys attended the ICE Conference with Kyle Jacobson from LocknCharge. Both Cody Kozuch and Kellie Raddatz attended the conference. Hundreds of vendors set up a booth at the conference to share what they can offer the schools. Attendees included principals, tech directors, and teachers.
Collaboration:
ICE (Illinois Computing Educators) designed this event to give schools an opportunity to network with other educators, attend presentations with keynote speakers, and speak with educational vendors. Attendees discussed one of their big takeaways during the conference:
“Build the classroom devices around the learning you would like to do, not getting the device and deciding what the device can do for learning”
Educators seemed to love this statement and ScholarBuys is the perfect solution for helping schools determine which device is best for their educational needs.
Technology:
ScholarBuys presented the LocknCharge Carrier 30 Cart and Lenovo N21 Chromebook and featured a bundle including the cart, Chromebooks, and management consoles. By attending this conference ScholarBuys was able to interact with schools and make them aware of the software and hardware available at educational discounts. ILTTP also featured ScholarBuys at their booth as their Preferred Lenovo Vendor.
The Carrier 30 Cart drew attendees to the ScholarBuys booth and educators were able to see the many benefits of the cart. The carrier baskets make deployment of devices much quicker, allowing more time for learning, and the top loading feature can double as a workstation. The Chromebooks also allow more time for learning, with the new Lenovo N22 featuring 10 hours of battery life. The faster core processor on the N22 will put less stress on the school’s network. ScholarBuys can help schools select the perfect models of both cart and devices to fit the budget, allowing more room for other projects.
