ScholarBuys had the opportunity to attend the 2017 ICE (Illinois Computing Educators) Conference that was held at the Pheasant Run Resort in St Charles, IL March 1st – March 3rd. This conference brings educators and technology providers together for academic workshops and exhibit time to walk the conference floor and network.
The ICE Conference was a unique experience that allowed ScholarBuys to interact with schools and districts from across the state of Illinois. Attendees were able to meet their Academic Technology Expert, Cody Kozuch, in person. ScholarBuys enjoys making the face to face connection that is not an option with some larger companies. This was an opportunity for Cody to meet his customers in person and let them know he is the one they are working with. Kyle from LocknCharge also joined us to show off all of the great charging solutions that are available. The CarryOn allows tablets to be carried from class to class or on field trips. The Carrier 30 Cart comes with baskets to help deploy devices efficiently.
The LocknCharge Carrier 30 cart at our booth was a huge hit. It features a top-loading design and incorporates a basket system that makes classroom deployment easy for teachers and staff. This deployment system saves teachers time packing up and unloading devices in their classroom. We had some fun with the cart and had our marketing coordinator sit inside of it.

Overall this was a great experience for us as a group to meet with some great people.
