Acer has announced two new Chromebooks that will fit into the education market. These Chromebooks will be released in late spring and are named the Chromebook Spin 11 and the Chromebook 11 N7.
Acer Chromebook Spin 11
Chromebooks have become more sophisticated and versatile to meet the needs of any classroom and this Chromebook is no exception. Features include:
- Intel Celeron N3450/N3350 Processor
- 11.6″ IPS Touch Display with Antimicrobial Glass
- Dual Acer HD wide view cameras
- Convertible with a 360 degree hinge
- Military standard
- Built-in Stylus
- 4GB or 8GB memory
- 32GB or 64GB storage
- 3.08 lbs
This Chromebook has it all for education. The convertible design, built in design, germ resistance, extra memory for educational apps, and a fast processor make it a good fit for classrooms.
Acer Chromebook 11 N7
The Acer Chromebook 11 N7 was built with education in mind. This Chromebook passes military durability tests to make this one of Acer’s most rugged Chromebooks. Features include:
- Intel Braswell N3060 Processor
- 4GB of memory
- 16GB or 32GB of storage
- Available in a touch option
- 2.98 lbs
This Chromebook will be available at a lower price range than the Spin 11 due to less professional grade features like the stylus and 360 degree hinge. The lower price and durability make it a good fit for K-12 classrooms.
