Focus
Michael has kept consistent focus this year on helping K-12 schools get their 1:1 initiatives up and running. This focus has involved staying up to date on Chromebooks, licenses, and charging carts. ScholarBuys has a Chromebook bundle that includes all of these items and it is one of our most requested products for K-12. As an Academic Technology Expert, it is important to stay current on the technology in the bundle and knowledgeable about their use in the classroom. Michael continues to explore new items for Chromebook classrooms and how they apply to students’ needs.
Success Story
Michael had been working with a small charter school in Florida since March. The school was looking to purchase their first set of Chromebooks, as well as a cart to store them. They selected the LocknCharge Carrier 20 and Lenovo N22 Chromebooks. The Carrier 20 is the perfect cart for smaller classrooms that are usually associated with charter schools. The school is planning on purchasing more sets of Chromebooks for other classrooms.
Technology
Michael is researching some upcoming technology trends for K-12 including digital signage and interactive displays. Some schools are moving away from smart and white boards and looking to this new technology.
