Repair and Accidental Damage Protection Plan
Extended Repair
- Begins at date of the device installation
- Includes functional failure of device component parts
- Component parts will be repaired or replaced
- Includes component parts and labor to return device to original equipment manufacturer operational specifications
- If the repair or replacement of component part(s) will not return the device back to original equipment manufacturer operation specifications, then the entire device may be replaced with a device that is the same or equal or greater operational specifications
Accidental Damage
- Begins at date of installation
- Includes any accidental, none intentional, damage caused by:
- Drops
- Liquid Spills
- Electrical Surges
- Includes damage that causes the device to not function to original equipment manufacturer operational specifications
- Component parts will be repaired or replaced to return device to original equipment manufacturer operational specifications
- Includes parts and labor required to return device to original equipment manufacturer operational specifications
- If the repair or replacement of component part(s) will not return the device back to original equipment manufacturer operation specifications, then entire device may be replaced with a device that is the same or equal or greater operational specifications
Not included in plan
- Original equipment manufacturer recalls
- Failures caused by improper use of device, any use not within original equipment manufacturer operational specifications, including abuse
- Any failures or damage caused by or during any period of being out of the direct control of the Plan Holder, including but not limited to during any period the device is defined as lost or stolen
- Any failure or damage that had occurred prior to the Commencement Date of the Protection Plan
- Caused by the attachment of any peripheral(s) to the device that was not approved by the original equipment manufacturer
- Any modification or repair that was made by any individual or company not authorized or approved
