Title: Operations & Marketing Coordinator
My Role at ScholarBuys: As the Operations and Marketing Coordinator, I complete customer orders and operational projects. I also manage the social media platforms and marketing related tasks.
Why I love working at ScholarBuys: I love getting to be creative and share my ideas to make an impact on a business. It makes me feel good knowing we help schools get the technology they need for a better price! It’s tough with the economy we are in, but education is so important and it’s great to know we are a part of helping schools get technology for students.
My Prior Experience to ScholarBuys: I went to Western Illinois University for Fashion Merchandising, hoping to break into a career related to sewing without having to pay the high cost of a design school. While there I discovered I love marketing. I started my career in retail as a manager, but couldn’t shake wanting a career in marketing. After three years in retail I decided it was time to follow that goal and start a career in marketing which led me to ScholarBuys!

 
What I do in my free time: (Hobbies, activities, adventures etc) Most of my free time is spent with my family and playing with my dog, Darcy. When I can, I love to spend time outside hiking or going for walks. I also enjoy sewing and knitting. My favorite projects are for my nephew!
 
My favorite technology/ tech related interest: I have always found Photoshop interesting because there are so many different uses for it.
